Our family suffered a recent sudden loss of a family member. We were faced with immense grief yet had to plan a funeral for our loved one while in shock and despair. We visited Green Funeral Home to discuss plans with Jeremy. He was kind, caring, helpful, and guided us through every aspect of planning for such an unexpected loss. Each step was handled carefully and compassionately by Jeremy and the staff. <br>The funeral service was yesterday and because of such detailed planning and careful arrangements, it was a very personal and beautiful tribute to our family member. Every plan was perfectly executed, beautifully prepared, and every detail was handled for us. From the order of service, music, adapting to our changes along the way, and the personal guidance we received, it took a great deal of burden off of our family. The careful direction of the visitation and service being handled so smoothly and efficiently made our experience all it could be under the circumstances of such great loss. Every small and large detail was carefully considered and initiated perfectly by Jeremy and his staff. Even touches that we didn't expect of flower petals at the gravesite were unexpected and meaningful. We received a lot of tender loving care for our guests and family with water, snacks, and caring comfort, which truly made the day easier for us. Jeremy and the staff provided everything we needed to get through such a difficult day. The kindness we were shown was genuine and caring. <br>We have had several other funerals for close family members over the past years and this was truly our best experience. Losing a loved one after a long illness is certainly difficult enough but knowing all that lies ahead for planning their funeral is so daunting. We quickly realized that it did not have to be a painful, long process. Jeremy was so incredible to work with and helped us with every single detail of my mom's service. We actually left the funeral home after the details were planned and felt lighter and at peace - that is priceless during such a difficult season. Jermey and the entire staff at Green Funeral Home @ Red Oak was so supportive and compassionate during such a difficult time. Let me start with ,Thank you Jeremy! And Green Funeral Home staff. To say that a funeral turned out amazing, you might think hmm that sounds kind of odd, but until you go through green funeral home , will you understand what I mean. <br>So at my father's funeral we used the ferris location and cemetery down the street. So we were able to have my dads transported by horse and buggy. It reminded me of the of the western days. And to top it off I got to ride with the driver from the funeral home to the cemetery. <br>There are no words to explain Jeremy, his politeness, his passion for this. He is all the way there for you, his comfort of words, but yet you can see in his eyes , he means what he says. When you walk In the room you feel a sense of comfort, which every one needs at a time like this. <br>I'm so blessed to have been a le to have Greene Funwral Home. Dealing with Green Funeral Home made the passing of a loved one easier to deal with. Losses such as these are already difficult, and it usually becomes even more stressful when trying to deal with the ins and outs of making arrangements for your loved one. That was not the case in dealing with Green Funeral Home. I had shopped around reaching out to multiple funeral homes first , but when I made contact with Jeremy , the owner at Green, I knew right away these were the people and services I wanted to guide us through this process.<br><br>I never felt like I was just a number to process in dealing with Jeremy . From the time I contacted him, he communicated with me directly , multiple times throughout the day, taking my hand and walking me and my family through this. This is very uncommon to deal with an owner personally like this. I never dealt with a middle man or was put on the back burner. I always felt like a priority. I felt like he cared.<br><br>We met with Jeremy, and he sat down with us for a couple hours , making sure that everything we wanted done ( an intimate , small private service ) was accommodated. He took many detailed notes, had a picture slide show with songs that we chose put together to play on a loop for my family members, and a beautiful well written obituary published for our loved one. From start to finish, Jeremy knows his stuff and the process, and he had us covered. His passion for what he does was extremely apparent.<br><br>The facility in Red Oak is gorgeous , well lit, spotless clean , with magnificent bathrooms, a large chapel that can fit many, or a smaller more intimate room for those wanting a smaller ceremony.<br><br>If you are looking into services by Green Funeral Home , it’s likely you have experienced the loss of a loved one , and you have my sympathies - but you can be assured and comforted knowing that choosing Jeremy at Green Funeral home will make this process easier for you to deal with, and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are provided with whatever your wish for a service may be.

Start by saying my grandmother was so beautiful. Everyone was nice, educational if we had questions. And patient with us thru our services for her. I appreciate everyone who showed up for her and all the accommodations that were made for us. I greatly appreciate it. If you are thinking about it and got this far in reading. I am a surviving member of the original Green family that began Green Funeral Home in 1882. On September 20, 2021, my father-in-law , Raymond Fulton, died at home in Corsicana. I dialed the same number the funeral home had when I was a kid, 544-3230, and Jeremy answered. It was after hours. The call was not routed to an answering service or a 3rd party. Jeremy came right away (Ben was tied up in traffic). He treated Raymond and our family with amazing kindness and respect. Ben and Jeremy and Amber continued to make our service selection and arrangements go so smoothly. We had the service at the cemetery with a large tent, 100 chairs, sound system, pulpit, and a full worship service. We encountered no barriers to our wishes. It all went so smoothly, thanks to these three people. Raymond looked wonderful and would certainly approve of all that was done. We absolutely recommend Green Funeral Home.

It is never easy dealing with the loss of a loved one. The staff at Greens Funeral Home was extremely helpful, caring and thorough when assisting with the arrangements of our family member. They promptly answered every single question we had. They took care of our family the way a family does. The facility has been remodeled and upgraded to the times. These people are just amazing!! They did both my grandfather and my mother. they went above and beyond what we expected. They took great care in wanting to make sure we where happy with how our loved one looked. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and they never made us feel rushed on anything.
