Thomas James Pagel

Thomas James Pagel, age 64 of Wilmer, Texas passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born August 14, 1956 in Houston, Texas to James Pagel and Jane Ann Stetter.  In the 70’s he began his career as a mechanic for Southwest Airlines and later working on semi-trucks. He was extremely smart, intelligent and always on the top of his game. Even in the face of ALS, the disease took his body, but not his mind. His eyes lit up the room and his smile was radiant. He was always ready to lighten the mood with a joke or two. He could always turn a bad day into a good day. He was loved to the moon and back and thus ended everyday, “To infinity, and beyond!”

He is preceded in death by his mother Jane Ann (Stetter) Durk.

He is survived by companion Pam High of Wilmer; daughter Katie Pagel, her mother Robin Pagel; step-daughter Mary Hoque; grandson Jasper Robinson; granddaughter Harper Blanton; father James Pagel; siblings: Lisa Holley, Laura Timmie and Jeff Pagel; mother-in-law Martha Harrison; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
