Lottie Ruth (McGreggor) Koehn

On Friday January 1, 2021 Lottie Ruth (McGreggor) Koehn rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings at 53 years young. She was born in Gainesville, Florida but grew up in Aldine, Texas near Houston. She attended Aldine High School, where she met and later married Karl Carlson. They were together for 16 years, having one daughter Stephanie. Lottie worked in various assistant roles in the medical field, but she truly enjoyed the outdoor life. She and Stephanie could often be found spending mother/daughter time shopping, fishing, and swimming at the cabin in Trinity Texas. Lottie had a huge heart and loved all who knew her, never meeting a stranger. She had a compassionate spirit towards animals, wanting to home and help every lost puppy, cat, bird etc. She was a big Dallas Cowboys fan but also had a love NASCAR. Cooking was her passion in life, although she always burnt the bottom of the biscuits. She loved to dance to her favorite songs while cleaning the house mainly to country music, though she did love Elvis Presley and classic rock. She was the best mom and grandma loving her family to no end. She was Stephanie’s biggest fan and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her Parents and a brother Randy McGreggor.

She is survived by her loving husband Keith Koehn of Ferris Texas; daughter Stephanie Williams of Spring, Texas; adoring grandchildren: Haley Williams and Wyatt Van Marter; brother Frank and wife Mary McGreggor of Spring, Texas; sister Lori McGreggor of Tomball, Texas

The family will hold a celebration of life in her honor at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 14302 Lillja Rd. Houston, Texas 77060.
