Clifford Finch Obituary

Clifford David Finch, age 66 of Alto, Texas passed away May 29, 2021. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 15, 1954 to the late Travis Wayne and Barbara Christine (Davis) Finch. Moving often in the early years to Wilmer, Ferris, Rocket and all the way to Colorado and back. He was an accomplished builder and tinkered with making things with his hands. He loved fishing on Lake Tawakoni, hunting, smoking and listening to his classic rock ‘n’ roll music, his favorites being: Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Seger to name a few. He also worked in printing 13 to 14 years as a Pressman also working on a dairy farm and as a caretaker for racing greyhounds.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Xavier Hayes and brother Harold Finch. 

He is survived by son Clifford Gregory Finch of Wilmer, son Jerry and wife Amanda Hall of Huntsville, Kazia and husband Kyle Douglas of Rusk and Natisha C. Finch of Marlin; grandchildren: Mason Fox Finch, Jayson Matthew Douglas, Nicholas Isiah Douglas, Westyn Kristofer Douglas and Kylee Nicole Douglas; sisters: Pat Hetmer of Jacksonville and Gail Ranton of Ferris.

Graveside service will be 12 PM Friday, June 4, 2021 at Ferris Memorial Park North, Ferris, Texas.
