Jeremy Lewis

Owner- Funeral Director/Embalmer

Jeremy was born and raised in Southwest Missouri; he grew up having a strong desire to be a part of the funeral industry, often playing funeral director as a child. At the age of 18, he began working at a funeral home in Northeast Oklahoma, and in the fall of 2002, he moved to Dallas, Texas to attend the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, graduating in the fall of 2003. In October of 2018, he and his partner Ben purchased Green Funeral Home in Ferris, Texas, (established in 1882), and in April of 2022 they opened a second location in Red Oak, Texas. They are proud of their vintage funeral coaches; a 1949 Chevy Barnette and 1955 Cadillac Superior. They also own a Flower and Gift Shop, and a Pet Crematory.

When he isn't working, Jeremy likes to be home with his two dogs Beau and Jenny, but also enjoys traveling. He is an avid Harry Potter fan and loves caring for his saltwater fish tank. He is a 15-year singing member of the Turtle Creek Chorale and a five-year volunteer with Mentors Care at Ferris High School in Ferris, Texas, (a non-profit organization that helps mentor at-risk students). In addition to his role with the North Texas Funeral Directors Association, Jeremy is the current President of the Ferris, Texas Chamber of Commerce.

Benjamin LaFleur

Owner

Benjamin LaFleur was born and raised in a small town (Eunice) in south Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University in Business Administration/Management. He then moved to Texas and managed many big box retail stores.  He  then moved into the Veterinary field managing a Veterinary hospital before purchasing Green Funeral Home. Ben loves animals and his three dogs Beau, Molly, and Jenny. 

Benjamin also serves on the board of Red Oak Area Chamber of Commerce.

Benjamin's compassionate nature makes him an asset to the funeral business. He truly cares about all the families he has the privilege to serve and is devoted to helping ease their burdens.

Amber Hall

Licensed Funeral Director/Red Oak Office Manager

Amber joined us in February of 2020 right before the pandemic hit. Since joining us she has found a new passion for helping serve families honoring their loved ones and is a recent graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. 

Amber has lived in Ferris since 2016. She moved here from Georgia. Her children are her life. She has 4: Ryleigh 17, Cheyanne 14 and twins Jackson and Brooklyn 7. When she isn't working or in school she loves spending time with her family. She is a huge DIYer and spends her weekends doing projects around their home. 

Her compassion for helping families is a great addition to our funeral home.

Carolina Montoya

 Carolina vino a nosotros con años de experiencia en el trabajo de la iglesia y la oficina. Ella tiene una pasión en el cuidado de las personas de la comunidad. Carolina ha crecido en Ferris toda su vida. Ella es madre de 4 hijos adultos y abuela de un dulce niño pequeño. Su larga experiencia ayudando a la funeraria con los servicios de la iglesia la ha convertido en una bendición para nosotros. Carolina casi siempre tiene una sonrisa en su rostro que la hace la persona perfecta para nuestra ubicación de Ferris. Cuando ella no está trabajando, le gusta cocinar y pasar el tiempo con su familia.

 Carolina came to us with years of experience in church and office work. She has a passion for caring for the people in the community. Carolina has grown up on Ferris all her life. She is the mother of 4 adult children and grandmother of a sweet little boy. Her long experience helping the funeral home with church services has made her an asset to us. Carolina almost always has a smile on her face that makes her the perfect person for our Ferris location. When she's not working, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.[GF1]
