Wilhelm J. Huebschmann II, age 73 of Dallas, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born in November of 1946 in Nuremberg, Germany to the late Wilhelm Johann and Elfriede (Stuckmann) Huebschmann. As a young man, he began his career in culinary arts and hospitality in Berlin, Germany, making his way to Washington DC in the 60’s, then on to New York City where he worked at a restaurant on Time Square, then California and later to Dallas, where he has lived for 30 yrs. His career has taken him all over the majority of the globe, working as hospitality director for the Plaza Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels. Always a good story teller, Wilhelm was also an avid reader of various gas light mysteries and other works from his Pulitzer Prize collection of books. He is also recognized for his dedicated service as a board member of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and head of various Home Owners Associations over the years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Maximillian Huebschmann.
He is survived by his loving son W. Johann Huebschmann III of Dallas, Texas as well as Stella Howarth of Dallas, Texas.
