Wanda Jean Kerry age 83 of Glenn Heights, TX passed away October 7, 2022. She was born in Marietta, Oklahoma and attended school there. After finishing school, Wanda moved to Texas where she met and married the love of her life, Ray Kerry, who passed away in 2019. She was known for her fiery red hair and blue eye shadow. She never allowed her age to show with grey hairs and would never let you catch her with her nails not painted. She loved her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life. She loved holidays and being able to spend them with her family, Christmas of course was her favorite. When Ray was alive, they loved to travel. They would often head north to Oklahoma and Arkansas to visit family. If she wasn’t with her family, you could often find her listening to old country music or playing a table card game when she could find people to indulge her. Wanda loved Ray’s lasagna and meat loaf, but also loved her son Loyd’s chicken and dumplings. Wanda will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ray Kerry, parents, two brothers, and a sister.
She is survived by her son Loyd and wife Shirley of Glenn Heights; grandchildren: Jason, Randy, and Nicolas; seven great-grand-children as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
