Virginia Leah Arnold

Virginia L. Arnold, age 90, passed away on October 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Virginia was born in Mt. Ayr, lowa on June 9, 1934 to Oral and Janel James. At the age of two, she moved with her family to California where she eventually met the love of her life, Clifford L. Arnold, Sr. The couple moved to Dallas, finally settling in Bristol in 1970.

Virginia and Clifford were avid hunters, spending many years on their deer leases, with trophy's still hanging on the walls. Virginia enjoyed crossword puzzles, her garden, and her goats. Virginia was never without small dogs at her feet.

Virginia and Clifford owned and operated the Country Store in Bristol for many years, until lightning struck the building in 1993, and the building burned to the ground.

Virginia is preceded in death by husband, Clifford L. Arnold Sr., (1994) and daughter Debbie M. Arnold (2017)

Virginia is survived by son Clifford L. Arnold, Jr. and wife Kerry of Denison, TX; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Green Funeral Home -Ferris, Texas

A Celebration of Life will be held at Green Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2024. Burial following at the Bristol Cemetery. Mr. Randall McElroy Officiating.
