Vincent Earl Yarling, age 41 of Ennis, Texas passed away December 22, 2024. Born on December 23, 1982 in Dallas, Texas to Fred Yarling and AnnBellock. A graduate of Midlothian High School, Vincent began his entrepreneurial journey in 2001, building a successful business in fencing and later expanding into excavation, which he pursued with dedication for 24 years.
Vincent will be remembered for his quick wit, dry humor, and generous spirit. He was a loyal friend who truly wanted everyone around him to succeed. Outgoing and friendly, he never met a stranger and always went out of his way to help those in need, whether with his time, resources, or advice. An avid outdoorsman, Vincent loved long-range shooting competitions, hunting, and crafting his own ammunition. Though fishing wasn’t his strong suit, he cherished moments by the water, whether at a beach, lake, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Vincent had a talent for building and creativity, demonstrated by the home he built for his family and his most recent project—a bridge spanning the family pond. His life was filled with purpose and passion, constantly improving his land and property, building dirt bike paths, and turning ideas into reality.
Family meant everything to Vincent. He treasured vacations with his wife and children to the National Parks across the Country, Broken Bow, Oklahoma and San Antonio, making lasting memories. He was dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle, enjoying podcasts about well-being, and was always striving for self-improvement. Vincent’s greatest joys were his work and his passion for shooting. He also loved grilling and sharing meals with loved ones. His life, though far too brief, was rich with love, laughter, and purpose, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; father Fred Yarling; and sister Amy Estes.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife Shellye Yarling; daughter Sawyer Yarling; daughter Maisye Tucker; son Blayne and wife Kenize Smith; mother Ann Blakely; sisters: Polly Yarling, Cheryl Kish and Rebecca Yarling; nephew Noah Morales and niece Samantha Cox.
