Twina Hathcock

Twina Cox Hathcock was born on October 14, 1942, to Charles and Ovaletta Cox. The Lord called her home on October 27, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Twina was born in Oak Cliff and grew up in Ferris, Texas where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Bill. They chose to stay in Ferris to build their life together and raise a family. Twina spent 30 years as a dedicated employee of Republic National Bank before joining the Expo Group where she worked for another 20 years. Twina spent her retirement being the best Nina to her grandchildren and great grandchildren she could be. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in the yard, crafting with Tinsley and Sterling, and later loved her trips to the casino.

Twina is survived by her loving husband Bill of 61 years, her daughter Candice Duran and husband Eddie of Ferris, granddaughters Lindsay Walton of Ferris, Samantha McGrade and husband Patrick of Temple, great granddaughters Tinsley and Sterling Walton of Ferris, along with her sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Twina is preceded in death by her beloved son Richard Wayne Hathcock and her parents Charles and Ovaletta.

Twina fought the good fight; she finished the race, and she kept the faith, and she made the lives of her family and lifelong friends better for simply being in there lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made to the Dementia Society of America or a charity of your choice in her honor.
