Tracy Robinson Obituary

Tracy Moore Robinson, age 68 of Midlothian, Texas passed away on May 26, 2026. She was born on July 13, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas. Raised lovingly by her grandparents, Tracy grew into a vibrant and talented young woman full of personality and creativity. She attended Brackenridge High School, where she proudly served as head majorette of the marching band. A gifted performer, Tracy was classically trained in ballet, flamenco, jazz, and other forms of dance. Her talent carried her to performances along the San Antonio River Walk, where she entertained dignitaries and visitors alike. Tracy married her high school sweetheart Fernando. During his service in the United States Marine Corps, they welcomed their daughter Alison while living on base. Though life led them in different directions, Tracy later found lasting love with Louis David “Rob” Robinson. Together they built a life and welcomed their daughter Casey. Tracy was witty, funny, and didn’t mind telling a story more than once, each time with the same enthusiasm and ability to make everyone laugh all over again. She was wonderfully stubborn, set in her ways, and proud of it. Tracy marched to the beat of her own drum and had no intention of learning any new tricks; this independent spirit was simply part of what made her so unforgettable. Music also filled Tracy’s life and heart; she especially loved classic rock, along with favorite groups like The Osmond’s and many others. “Taking Care of Business” was always a special song shared between Tracy and Rob, a soundtrack to their life together. She also had a remarkable gift for crochet, creating beautiful afghans that she lovingly gave away to family and friends or sold for others to treasure. Tracy enjoyed quiet days binge-watching her favorite television shows and movies, especially Yellowstone. She was a licensed child caregiver, owning and operating Miss Tracy‘s Funcare in Mansfield, Texas for 27 years; influencing the lives of countless children with her love and care. One of the highlights of her days was her early morning FaceTime calls with Casey, moments she cherished deeply. Above all else, Tracy loved her daughters and grandchildren with her whole heart. She carried the pain of losing her beloved husband Rob, her brother Quinn and daughter Alison, but continued to pour love into those around her. Along the way she formed countless friendships, both in person and through Facebook and social media, touching many lives with her humor, honesty, and unmistakable personality. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; daughter Alison; husband Rob and brother Quinn.

She is survived by her daughter Casey and husband Justin Turner; grandchildren: McKenna, Tracen, Rixtynn and Wallace; brother Erich Frazee Connally and wife Paula; brother Stephen Alter; sis-in-law Elaine Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and dear friends.
