Terry Wallace Obituary

Terry Lee Wallace, age 78, passed away July 17, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1945, in Dallas, Texas to Wilbur Dee Wallace and Frances Claudean Pinkston. Terry grew up in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School, Class of 1963. The family also lived in Mansfield and Garland, Texas. During a visit to the State Fair of Texas, he met the love of his life, Judy Ann Venable, they were married on June 25, 1966. Terry worked initially at Plastics Manufacturing in Oak Cliff before joining Frito-Lay, where he spent 41 years until his retirement. He was a quiet and reserved individual with a dry sense of humor who spoke his mind when he was ready. Terry loved baseball, bowling, and visiting the WinStar casino. He also had a passion for old cars and old movies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Claudean Wallace; brother Jimmy Wallace and sister Denise Sisson.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy Wallace; daughter Shannon and husband Chad Oder; grandchildren: Shelby Oder and husband Kelly Gregory, Colten and wife Katie Oder and Coby Oder; great-granddaughter Kennedy Marie Oder; as well as nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 22, 2024 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas. Jason Harris officiating.

Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery Red Oak, Texas.
