Susan “Sue” Marie (Schneider) Graham

Susan Marie (Schneider) Graham, age 72 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away March 5, 2022. She was born September 25, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Sophie (Griesch) Schneider. Growing up in Illinois, Sue spent lots of time with her dad working in the garage. She was a protective younger sister, once beating up a girl that was picking on her older sister. In fifth grade she met Kenneth Eugene Graham. After she graduated from high school in Lombard, Illinois in 1967, she attended half a year of college and worked as a bookkeeper. Sue and Kenneth were married on May 24, 1969 at Holy Trinity in Lombard, Illinois. They began their family of three children, later moving to Arkansas and then to Texas. She continued her education in medical coding in the 1990's working for Baylor Hospital. Sue was direct spoken and free with her opinions; yet a sweet individual, generous to a fault. She had a laugh that was kind, genuine and so contagious! Sue loved having long fingernails and getting pedicures. She could often be found watching Judge Judy or working on cross stitch, crochet and puzzles.

She loved horses, unicorns, pets of all kinds and especially her Yorky mix of nine years, Zipper. She was a loyal supporter of the Ellis county SPCA, volunteered at other organizations, as well as a driver of meals on wheels. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Eugene Graham, Sr.; son Kenneth Eugene Graham, Jr. and brother Bill Schneider.

She is survived by her son Kirk and wife Emily Graham of Plano, Texas; daughter Tamera and husband Chris Moses of Red Oak, Texas; grandchildren: Ashley Moses, Austin and wife Megan Moses, Kimberly Moses, Collin Graham, Aiden Graham, Steven Graham, Crystal Graham and Christopher/A.J. Graham; great-grandchildren: Jaycee Moses and Bentley Moses; sister Ruthann and husband Bruce King; brother George and Mary Schneider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas. Brother Rick Cundieff, officiating.
