Stanley Hugh Wright Jr.

Stanley Hugh Wright Jr passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2023. He was born on November 7, 1954 in Dallas, Texas
to Stanley Wright Sr and Peggy Abbott Wright. Stanley attended Ferris High School and served in the
United States Army until 1972. He was employed by TekRam for 20 years before going into business for
himself as a SnapOn Tools dealer. Stanley retired in 2017 when he started helping his father and uncle
farming and raising cattle. Stan enjoyed riding his Harley with friends, hunting, and fishing, and he was
passionate about collecting and restoring old cars.
Stanley is survived by his wife Kathy; a daughter, Polly Ryan, and her husband; a stepson, Jared Batchler,
and his wife Crystal; his father, Stanley Wright Sr; a sister, Cathy Prachyl, and her husband Kevin; a
brother, Steve Wright, and his wife Sheila; two grandsons, Luke and Desmund Byers; three step-
grandchildren, Blake, Faith, and Max; an aunt, Patty Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. And he
will be greatly missed by his dogs, Scooter and Cracker.
Stanley was proceeded in death by his mother, Peggy Abbott Wright and his grandparents, Ben and Tisha
Abbott and Orville and Ida Faye Wright.
