Sophia Geraldine (Brush) Meyers age 78 of Ovilla, Texas passed away December 29, 2022. She was born July 16, 1944 to the late Gerald and Ruby Irene (Simonson) Brush in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She graduated high school in the class of 1962 and begin her life as a homemaker and raising her children. She entered working life and served in various careers, but most of all embraced housekeeping, which she did for the better part of 25 years. She married Stephen K. Meyers June 13, 1992 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Together they loved spending time with friends, playing cards and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. They moved around many times in the LaCrosse, Wisconsin area and worked on many projects together and were always ready to get the next project started. She lovingly cared for Stephen during his journey and illness with Alzheimers. She was an incredibly loving and giving individual and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Ruby Brush; husband Stephen K. Meyers and Sister Renee Copeland.

She is survived by her loving children: Shelly and husband Jesse Velasquez of Ovilla, Cindy and husband Eric Shook of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Adam Storey, Steve and wife Michelle Meyers, and Deb and husband Mike Reese; grandchildren: Jessica Velasquez, Justin and wife Amberlee Velasquez, Grace Shook, Caleb Shook Andon Storey, Emma Nix, Jessica Meyers, Victoria Meyers, Nicolas Meyers, Peyton Reese, Preston Reese, Ava Reese; great-grandchildren: Jaxon Velasquez, Ember Nix, Autumn Nix, Addyson Upshaw and Ace Upshaw; nephew, Tony Copeland.
