Sierra "Pinkie" Ashley Roarx, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 31. She was born on August 20, 1993, in Galveston, Texas, and spent her life bringing joy, laughter, and love to those fortunate enough to know her.
Sierra was known for her vibrant personality, her outgoing nature, and her ability to light up any room she entered. She worked as an area manager at Crumbl Cookies, where she was loved deeply by her work family, who admired her incredible energy, humor, and dedication. Sierra's contagious laughter and warm heart made her the heart of any group she was a part of. She had a rare ability to make people feel special, and her straightforward, sometimes stubborn, yet always compassionate approach to life commanded respect and admiration from all who crossed her path.
A woman of many passions, Sierra had an intense love for life that showed in everything she did. Whether it was her fierce devotion to her two sons, her unshakeable love for her family, or her obsession with Dr. Pepper (so much so, she joked it was in her veins), Sierra’s commitment to the things she cared about was unwavering. Her playful spirit was reflected in her silly antics and infectious personality.
Sierra’s generosity knew no bounds. She had a heart of gold and often went out of her way to bring happiness to others. She purchased Christmas gifts for strangers, always selecting the perfect presents, and her kindness extended to everyone she met. Her passion for life, her deep compassion, and her ability to make everyone feel seen will be sorely missed. Her family and friends will forever remember her as the woman who gave everything she had—love, laughter, and loyalty—without hesitation.
Sierra is preceded in death by her Nana and Papa.
She is survived by her two precious sons: Josiah Roarx and Clay Pease; her parents: Gary and Jeri Rogers; her siblings: Jeffrey McCain, Rachel Ramon, Gary Rogers II, and Christopher Rogers; her forever friend, Bryce Cranmer; her beloved dog, Major; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Duncanville, TX on January 1st, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
