Obituary
Shaun R. James, aged 44, of Ennis, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2023. He was born and raised in Texas, having been born in Dallas, on February 15, 1979, to Kim James and Barbara Hertzog. Shaun was a graduate of the Red Oak High School Class of 1997. From a young age, he had a passion for working on cars and he pursued it straight out of high school. Anyone who knew Shaun would instantly recognize his love for racing, and he frequently participated in motorcycle and car races. During his free time, he would also take to the lake, where he enjoyed skiing, fishing and camping with loved ones. Although cooking wasn't his strong suit, Shaun was passionate about it. Shaun will always be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him, and he will be greatly missed.
Shaun is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his father, Kim James, and his wife Cherie of Palmer, Texas, his mother, Barbara Ann Hertzog of Ennis, Texas, his son, Devon James of Waxahachie, Texas, and his brother, Casey James of Ennis, Texas, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family home.
