Sharon Kay (Satterwhite) Ratcliff, age 76 of Red Oak, Texas passed away August 31, 2022. She was born August 28, 1946 to the late Thomas and Dessie Fay (Mills) Satterwhite in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. She attended and graduated Adamson high school and was married in 1964 and begin her family. She began working in the late 1970’s in sales for JCPenney and later with Southwestern Bell and AT&T until her retirement. She loved to interior decorate, creating artificial floral arrangements, garden outside and listen to her favorite older-softer-rock ‘n’ roll music of the 1970’s. She later moved to Red Oak, Texas to be closer to her family. She loved helping others, shopping for lots of things and perfectly organizing them. She is remembered for always giving of her time and possessions. She will be greatly missed at family reunions and holiday gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Dessie Fay Satterwhite and brother Gary Mack Satterwhite.
She is survived by her son Steve and wife Stephanie Ratcliff of Idabel, Oklahoma; daughter Shelley and husband Beau Gajdica of Red Oak, Texas; five grandchildren: Madison and husband Chris, Hayley and husband Slade, Zack, Shelby and Bailey; one great-grandson; brother James and wife Edna Satterwhite; sister Donna and husband Eddie Kropp and her beloved Yorkshire Terrier Bella.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2022 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas. Pastor Paul Shearin officiating.
Interment will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas.
