Sergio Campos Obituary

Sergio Enrique Campos, age 36, passed away on January 2, 2026. He was born on October 12, 1989, in Ennis, Texas, and spent most of his life in Dallas County, where Wilmer became the place, he proudly called home and where countless memories and stories were made.

Sergio had a lifelong love of music and was a true performer at heart. A rapper, R&B artist, producer, and recording artist, he felt most alive on stage or in the studio. Music wasn’t just something he did; it was how he spoke to the world, told his story, and connected with others. Creative, driven, and always thinking of the next move, Sergio never shied away from a hustle and was constantly finding new ways to provide for his family and build a better future.

Family meant everything to Sergio. He deeply loved his children and spoke of them often. Though life sometimes made relationships challenging, he was a good father whose love for his children never wavered. He also helped raise his nieces and nephews, stepping in with guidance, laughter, and support while often paired with a joke or two whenever it was needed.

Known for his outgoing personality, Sergio could light up a room with his humor and big, unforgettable smile. He was charismatic, funny, and well known for his playful trash talk. He loved to cook and took pride in always being well put together, from his fresh haircuts and clean shoes to his favorite jewelry, as Sergio believed looking good was simply part of showing up in the world.

Sergio lived life boldly, loved deeply, and stayed unapologetically himself. He leaves behind a legacy of memories, laughter, music, and love that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his three children, Matthew Calderon, Marley Campos, and Ahzani Campos; his parents, Sergio Campos Sr. and Patricia Vallejo Campos; his sisters, Denise Gonzales, Debbie Ayala, Rachel Mauricio, Virginia Campos Parker, and Vannesa Campos; his brothers, Sergio Campos Jr. and Patrick Campos; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember him as funny, stylish, outspoken, and larger than life.
