Ronald Lee Turner, age 64, was born on May 25, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Norman Lee Turner and Janie Carrol Partain. He passed away on July 27, 2024. Ronald was known for his outgoing nature and infectious laughter. He always had a pleasant demeanor and a positive attitude. In his youth, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing sports, especially baseball, a passion he carried into his adult life by playing catch with his children. He was a caring individual who valued family time and shared his love for the outdoors with them. Before retiring, Ronald worked as a machinist, fabricating military artillery parts. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, particularly at Cedar Creek Lake, and took pride in working in his yard and home garden. Ronald was also skilled in woodworking, often building storage sheds and other projects around his home. He had a talent for cooking out, frequently grilling brisket, chicken, ribs, and burgers for family and friends. Ronald loved listening to country music and classic rock and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Janie Turner and son Brandon Lee Turner.
He is survived by his son Jimmy Lee Turner of Waxahachie and daughter Jenna Turner and husband Glenn Bradshaw of Midlothian. as well as other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.
Funeral Service Will be 12:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2024 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.
Interment to follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas
