Robin A. Wheeler McCord, age 63 of Kemp, Texas, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Harold and Patsy (Fitts) McCord on July 2, 1960. Being born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School. After school she went into the workforce taking various clerical jobs including office administration, secretary, and office management. Robin was known for being outspoken and, at times, a little stubborn. She was tough, but so loving and caring. Robin was an amazing daughter. She was always there for her parents who she loved dearly. She was known to spoil her kids and grandkids, never telling them no, which was a trait she learned from her parents who never told her no either. Robin’s kids were her world. She worked hard and put her all into everything she did so that she could give her children and grandchildren a great life. As much as Robin loved being a mom, being a grandmother was her favorite role. She could be found playing Call of Duty with her grandson after work when she wasn’t with her animals! Robin will be missed and always cherished by those that knew and loved her.
She is Survived by her parents: Harold and Patsy McCord of Kemp, Texas; children: Shane Lovett of Kemp, Texas, Krystle and husband Curtis Johnson of Garland, Texas; grandchildren: Le’Jyiond “King” Johnson, Aleck Coleman, Soula Johnson, C.J. Johnson, Satori Johnson and one great grandchild Halo Monroe Williams and many more family and friends who loved Robin dearly.
