Roberto Méndez Trejo

Roberto Mendez Trejo, de 75 años, de Ferris, Texas, falleció el 10 de julio de 2023. Nació el 10 de junio de 1948 en el General Panfilo Natera, Zac. Noria del Cerro y fue uno de los cuatro hijos de Abigail (Trejo) y Antonio Méndez. Roberto viajó de un lado a otro a México una vez que llegó a los Estados Unidos viviendo en Kentucky y trabajando en mudanzas de desechos bio-saltos y, finalmente, en Ferris, Texas, donde fue una mano de rancho para Toomey Farms durante más de 15 años. Es recordado por ser un gran trabajador. Le encantaba bailar cuando no estaba bromeando con sus nietos, que eran su vida. Era un padre muy atento que le dio todo lo que pudo a su familia. Lo extrañará increíblemente todo lo que lo sabía y lo amó.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y un hermano Manuel Méndez.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Maria Patro Méndez de Ferris, Texas, Efrain Méndez de Ferris, Texas, Ma Olivia Méndez de México, Roberto Mendez, Jr. de México, Maricela Méndez de México, Juan Méndez de Kansas; 16 nietos y bisnietos y hermanos: Triny Méndez de Atlanta, Georgia, Rafael Méndez de Ferris, Texas y Ernestina Méndez de México.

La visita se llevará a cabo en Green Funeral Home ubicada en 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas 75154 a partir de las 6 pm con rosario a las 7:30 p.m.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo en la parroquia católica de Corpus Christi ubicada en 111 N Wood Street Ferris, Texas 75125 a las 11 a.m.

Roberto Mendez Trejo, age 75, of Ferris, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1948, in General Panfilo Natera, Zac. Noria del Cerro and was one of four children of Abigail (Trejo) and Antonio Mendez. Roberto traveled back and forth to Mexico once he came to the United States living in Kentucky and working in bio-hazard waste removals and eventually in Ferris, Texas where he was a ranch hand for Toomey Farms for over 15 years. He is remembered for being a hard worker. He loved to dance when he wasn’t joking around with his grandkids, who were his life. He was a very attentive father who gave anything and everything he could to his family. He will be incredibly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and one brother Manuel Mendez.

He is survived by his children: Maria Patro Mendez from Ferris, Texas, Efrain Mendez of Ferris, Texas, Ma Olivia Mendez of Mexico, Roberto Mendez, Jr. of Mexico, Maricela Mendez of Mexico, Juan Mendez of Kansas; 16 grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings: Triny Mendez of Atlanta, Georgia, Rafael Mendez of Ferris, Texas, and Ernestina Mendez of Mexico.



Visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home located at 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas 75154 starting at 6 PM with Rosary at 7:30PM

Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish located at 111 N Wood Street Ferris, Texas 75125 at 11 AM.
