Robert Marc Watson

Robert Marc Watson, age 59 of Ferris, Texas passed away January 3, 2023. Marc was born January 30, 1963, in Dallas, Texas to the late Clinton Lee and Colleen (Anderson) Watson. He grew up and attended school in Ferris and later transferred to W. T. White High School in Dallas to participate in their golf program. He graduated with the class of 1981. His talents in the game of golf awarded him a scholarship to Houston Baptist University, where he received his bachelor's degree in business. Marc then moved back to North Dallas and worked in sales in the family business: A Watson Copiers, Inc. In 2002 he began his family, welcoming daughter Emma Jane. In 2016, he semi-retired when the family business was sold. He continued to enjoy playing golf with his friends. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, attending many games in his youth with his family, as season ticket holders. Marc was currently working for Fresh Pet in Ennis, Texas as a production line operator. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Colleen Watson.

He is survived by daughter Emma Jane Watson and her mother Carol Watson of Waxahachie; sister Stacy and husband Sherman Swafford of Ferris; niece Morgan and husband Alex Farr and their daughter Harper of Waxahachie; nephew Mason and wife Marian Swafford of Midlothian; Aunt Jane McDaniel of Midland; as well as numerous cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Green Funeral Home, Red Oak, TX. Memorial service will be 4:00 PM Saturday January 7, 2023, at Green Funeral Home 105 Vintage Dr, Red Oak, TX 75154. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marc’s honor to Ferris Baptist Fellowship 809 East 8th St, Ferris, TX 75125.
