With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Patricia A. Brown, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend. Patricia passed away peacefully at home with family in Waxahachie, Texas, on May 8, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 9, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, to Fred Brown and Elaine Duncan, Patricia lived a life full of adventure, love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She often joked, if not for having her eldest daughter, she'd still be out having a good time. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the way she made everyone around her feel welcomed.

Patricia was the proud and loving mother of Patrice Brown and Ashley Bell, who is married to Dean Bell. She poured her heart into raising her daughters, who carry on her legacy of love and strength. She was a devoted grandmother to Tyler Fletcher, Anntrice Mays, Ebonee Mays, London Bell, and Xy'Darine Smith, and a joyful great-grandmother to Jream Jackson. Each of them brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. Patricia is also survived by her loving sister, Sharon Thurman, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Patricia’s presence, love, and legacy will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
