Otilio Estrada-Torres Obituary

Otilio Estrada-Torres, 78 años, de Red Oak, Texas, falleció el jueves 10 de septiembre de 2020. Nació en diciembre de 1941 en México, hijo del difunto Dionicio Estrada-Rebouar y Josefina Torres-Morales. Se casó con el amor de su vida Sofonia Benítez y juntos tuvieron 10 hijos. Su pasión era la carpintería, la construcción de gabinetes y el trabajos relacionados en toda la zona. Sus muchos años de hacer mole serán recordados por su familia, así como muchos viajes divertidos a la playa en Acapulco.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su amada esposa.

Le sobreviven 10 hijos: Antonio, Adelina, Pablo, Humberto, Carmen, Guadalupe, Silvia, Ángela, Letica y Marisol; 26 nietos y 2 bisnietos; así como numerosos otros miembros de la familia extendida y amigos. El velorio será el martes 15 de septiembre de 2020 de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en Green Funeral Home. Se requiere máscara.

La misa de cristiana sepultura será el miércoles 16 de septiembre de 2020 a las 11:00 a.m. en la parroquia católica de Corpus Christi, 111 N. Wood St. Ferris, Texas 75125. * Por orden de la Diócesis de Dallas, la Parroquia Católica de Corpus Christi (CCCP) solo permite hasta 150 personas, incluidos niños, a todos los servicios que se llevan a cabo dentro de la iglesia. Las mascarillas deben usarse correctamente dentro del santuario (cubriendo la nariz y la boca) y solo se pueden quitar para recibir la comunión.

Otilio Estrada-Torres, age 78, of Red Oak, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born in December of 1941 in Mexico, to the late Dionicio Estrada-Rebouar and Josefina Torres-Morales. He married the love of his life Sofonia Benitez and together they had 10 children. His passion was carpentry, building cabinets and doing trim work all over the area. His many years of making mole will be remembered by his family as well as many fun trips to the beach in Acapulco.

He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife.

He is survived by 10 children: Antonio, Adelina, Pablo, Humberto, Carmen, Guadalupe, Silvia, Angela, Letica and Marisol; 26 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Green Funeral Home. Mask Required.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish, 111 N. Wood St. Ferris, Texas 75125. 

* By order of the Diocese of Dallas, Corpus Christi Catholic Parish (CCCP) is only allowing up to 150 people, including children, to all services that take place within the church. Face masks must be worn correctly within the sanctuary (covering the nose and mouth) and can only be removed to receive communion.
