Nada Louise Cotton

Nada Louise Cotton, age 79, of Snyder, TX; passed away February 24, 2022 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 12, 1942 in Clarksville, TX To Jimmy Alvis Davis and Josie Opal (Wilson) Davis. She was the oldest of five children, having  three sisters and one brother. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 19th at the Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home located at 3101 College Avenue in Snyder, TX 79549. The Memorial Service will be officiated by Rocky Alexander of Ira Church of God. 

Nada attended Snyder High School and graduated in 1960. While in her senior year of high school she worked at the Tiger Drive-In where she met the love of her life and future husband, Loyd Bruce Cotton. They were married later that year on May 27, 1960. 

Nada was a homemaker until her children were in junior high and she started working at the Snyder Daily News. Later she worked at Gibson’s Discount Store and finally settled at C.R. Anthony’s which later became Beall’s Department Store. She worked at Anthony’s/Beall’s until her retirement in 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Cotton; sister, Nell Scott and brother, Jimmy Davis.

She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife, Jasmine of Dallas, TX; daughter, Shari and grand-dog, Stormy of Irving, TX; sister, Shirley Kelly and nephew, Chris Kelly of Snyder; sister, Elaine Wilkerson and her husband, Les of Livingston, TX; granddaughters: Alyssa Cotton of Dallas, TX and Ashley Long; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Nada will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM, March 19, 2022, at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home: 3101 College Ave, Snyder, Texas 79549.
