Miguel Valle Cortes

Miguel Valle Cortés nació el 23 de marzo de 1972 en Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León, sus padres fueron el profesor Cosme Valle y la señora Aide Cortés. Miguel vivió una vida feliz en Villaldama junto a su hermana, Francisca Valle. El 26 de diciembre de 1999 encontró el amor verdadero, se casó con Guadalupe Landeros y los dos se mudaron a Texas. Su matrimonio siempre lleno de amor y alegría por casi 26 años. Poco después de casarse nació su hija, Natalia Valle. Con una fuerte ética de trabajo y el sueño de crear un futuro diferente en una tierra extraña para él, Miguel trabajó en una compañía en Garland durante más de 30 años ininterrumpidos. Recordamos estos hechos de su vida, pero revivimos más sus risas y sus travesuras. Encontraba un amigo en todos, pregúntenles a sus vecinos. Entre tantas cosas que describen a Miguel hay los siguientes: un césped perfectamente cortado, raspaditos de lotería, carnes asadas, navajitas, una buena película de zombis, ponerle un apodo a todo el mundo, llamadas de video a toda su familia en Villaldama, y por supuesto, el fútbol. Una vez compartió con su familia que sería un “Rayado hasta la muerte”. Su presencia parece insustituible, pero hemos encontrado su espíritu de niño a todo nuestro alrededor. Sonreímos en momentos de ironía en nuestra vida; le encantaba burlarse cariñosamente de sus seres queridos. En cada canción de música colombiana, recordamos sus pasos de baile. Sentimos su inquietud. Para todos que tienen la suerte de haberlo conocido más cerca, encontrarán la esencia de Miguel en su hija Natalia. Lo extrañaremos muchísimo y seguiremos encontrándolo en los momentos más felices e impredecibles de nuestra vida. Miguel, siempre vivirás en el constante, inquieto, latido de nuestros corazones.

Miguel Valle Cortés was born March 23, 1972, in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon to father, Cosme Valle, and mother Aide Cortés. Miguel lived a happy and fulfilled life in Villaldama, Nuevo Leon, alongside his sister, Francisca Valle. On December 26, 1999, he found true love and married Guadalupe Landeros. The two moved to Texas where a long marriage of almost 26 years was filled with love and joy. Shortly after, their daughter, Natalia Valle, was born. With a strong work ethic and a dream to create a different future in a land foreign to him, Miguel worked in Garland for more than 30 years. We remember these facts of his life, but we relive all the laughs and countless pranks he brought to us. He found a friend in everyone, just ask his neighbors. The net of things that describe Miguel range from a perfectly mowed lawn, scratch off tickets, carne asadas, pocketknives, a good zombie movie, giving a nickname to everyone, long Facetime calls to his family back home, and of course, soccer. He once shared with family that he would be a “Rayado until I die.” His presence feels irreplicable, but we find his childlike spirit around us. We smile at the moments of irony in our life; he would get a kick out of teasing his loved ones. To the tune of Colombiana music, we remember his dance moves. We feel his unwillingness to be still. For those fortunate enough to have known him closely, you’ll find his lively essence in his daughter Natalia. We will miss him dearly and will continue to find him in the happiest moments of our life. Miguel, you will live in the constant, unstill, beat of our hearts.
