Michael Anthony Densmore age 35 of Quanah, Texas passed away March 28, 2023. He was born September 30, 1987 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Fort Worth, Texas area, spending some time in Valdosta, Georgia. In his youth he enjoyed chess, sports, and loved the outdoors and the lake life; playing soccer, watching the stars through his telescope, camping and fishing. Michael had a big heart and loved to make others laugh. His family remembers him grilling outside every day in the summer and will miss him making a big breakfast: biscuits and gravy, grits, eggs and bacon. Michael was a truck driver these past five years and had driven coast to coast countless times.
He is preceded in death by his birth mother Teresa Ann Densmore; adopted father Curtis Hammond; brother Christopher Hammond; grandfather Wesley Densmore; nephew Justin Hammond and father-in-law Jose Mercado.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Densmore; their daughters: Teresa Magdalene Densmore and Mary Joanna Densmore; sons Michael Anthony Densmore, Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia and son Isaac Hill Densmore of Valdosta, Georgia; adopted mother Patricia Newsom of Joshua, Texas; grandmother Judy Tatum of Fort Worth, Texas; siblings: Curtis Hammond of Groesbeck, Texas, Ruth Ann and husband Gary Hammond of Cleburne, Texas, James Hammond of Conroe, Texas, Janice Stout of Whitney, Texas, Billy Day of Abilene, Texas, Crystal Stout of Whitney, Texas, Amanda Lewis of Joshua, Texas and Jada Bordeaux of Odessa, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
