Michael J. Andrews

Michael J. Andrews, age 64, of Red Oak, Texas Passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born in Amarillo, Texas to Marvin and Mary (Evans) Andrews. Mike attended Tascosa High School in Amarillo and graduated in 1977. After high school Mike attended college before settling in his career as an aircraft engineer in 1979 at Bell Helicopter in Amarillo, Texas. Mike moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 1986 to continue his career at HAC, Aero-Components and most recently at Spirit AeroSystems in Farmers Branch, Texas.

Mike married the love of his life Alicia in October 2001 and the two resided in Red Oak with their son Gabriel Hernandez. Mike was a Master Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #731 in Amarillo, Texas. He was an avid sportsman who loved being on the lake fishing. Mike also spent time competing in handgun competitions. Mike always had an interest in law enforcement and wanted to be a police officer. He achieved that goal as a reserve officer in Venus, Texas from 2000-2006. This I something he was very proud of.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Mary (Evans) Andrews and his stepfather Clifford Missildine.

He is survived by his loving wife Alicia and son Gabe, sister-in-law Ava DiMellio and husband Anthony, niece Alexandria DiMellio and great niece Shelby Paige.

A celebration of Mikes life will be scheduled for a later date.
