Matilde Reyes Obituary

Matilde Reyes, age 51, went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 20th, 2020 after fighting a long courageous battle against cancer. Matilde, or as many knew her, Minerva or Mine, was born in El Río de Pinihúan, Lagunillas SLP.  Matilde touched many lives with her beautiful smile, genuine soul, and her heart of gold.  She was always protective of her children, whom she spoiled with an overabundance of love.  Without a doubt she was an unforgettable woman.  Everyone who loved to visit her, knew she would always welcome them with arms wide open.  There is no greater love than the love she had for her children, grandchildren and family.  Matilde loved to garden and cook, but what she didn’t know is that she was also planting seeds of love that will live on for generations.  There aren’t enough words to describe such an extraordinary soul who will be immensely missed for her infinite love, sweetness towards everyone and her loving heart that never stopped giving.  For these reasons and many more, she will live on forever through us.
