Mary Edna (Bell) Fagan, age 91, of Ferris, Texas, passed away on May 20, 2025. She was born in Palmer, Texas March 20, 1934 to Clarence Calvin and Lula Emma (Almond) Bell. Mary grew up in Ferris, Texas with a strong sense of faith, family, and hard work. After completing her education, she married and lovingly devoted herself to raising her family as a homemaker. Later, she began a career with the United States Postal Service, ultimately retiring from the Bulk Mail Center in Dallas, Texas. Mary was a loving mother, firm yet kind, always generous with her time and resources. Her heart for others was evident in the many ways she gave to ministry and supported mission work, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Hutchins, Texas. She enjoyed simple pleasures and treasured memories, including a special trip to Tennessee where she visited the Grand Ole Opry and other historic landmarks. Mary was loved by all who knew her, and her legacy of kindness, generosity, and faith will continue to inspire all who know her.
She is proceeded in death by her parents: Clarence and Lula Bell; son Morris Fagan; daughter Betty Carol (Fagan) Stonewall and daughter Donna Jean (Fagan) Parker; brothers: Almand Bell, Robert Calvin (RC) Bell and Harold Lynn Bell.
She is survived by her son Bill and wife Ruthann Fagan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Jimmy Elmer Bell; sister Betty Joyce Wickliffe; sister Billie Bell; brother Paul David Bell; and sister Nan Lou (Bell) Clark; as well as other extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2025 at Green Funeral Home -Ferris, Texas.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas Mr. Carl Sherman officiating.
Pallbearers: Michael Lee Driggars, Kevin Dewayne Driggars, Jeffrey Paul Clark, Billy Kenneth Fagan, Randy Dwayne Fagan, Dustin Dale Parker.
Burial will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North -Ferris, Texas.
