Mary Lynn (Cleveland) Depuy, age 95 of Red Oak, Texas passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was born June 13, 1930 in Abilene, Texas to Lynn Cleveland and Iva Wood. Mary graduated from San Bernardino High School in California with the Class of 1947. She later married and began her family, eventually moving to Klamath Falls, Oregon where she built a life rooted in love, faith, and service. In pursuit of helping others, she attended the Oregon Institute of Technology, where she took nursing courses and became an in-home health aide. Throughout her life, Mary was known for her dedication and compassion, whether caring for her patients or supporting her family. She was a talented seamstress in her younger years and found great joy in her flower gardens, taking pride in the colorful blooms that surrounded her home. Family gatherings and holidays were among her favorite times, when her generous heart and warm hospitality shone brightest. Above all, Mary was a devoted Christian who lived her faith daily through kindness, patience, and love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Depuy; parents Lynn and Iva Cleveland; sister Emma Lou Strain; and daughter Terry Meek.
She is survived by her son Christopher Martindale; daughters: Vicky, Sheryl, Mary and Michelle as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family members and friends.
