Mary was born on April 9, 1941 in Port Lavaca, Texas to her parents Luis Najar Perez and Ramona Gonzales Perez. Mary was known for her sarcastic sense of humor and spunky personality. After her husband Alonzo retired they loved going to the park almost daily to have picnics. Her favorite places to eat were Little Mexico and Humble Cafe.
