Mark Short, of Waxahachie, Texas, formerly of Pasadena, California, passed away peacefully.
Mark was a man of curiosity, creativity, and humor. He had a lifelong love for working on cars and electronics, always eager to take something apart, understand how it worked, and bring it back to life. His hands were rarely idle, and his mind was always exploring new ideas.
He was well known for his unique sense of humor and his eclectic knowledge of pop culture. Conversations with Mark were never dull, he could move effortlessly from technical discussions to movie trivia, music, or stories that left everyone laughing. His quick wit and wide-ranging interests made him a memorable presence to all who knew him.
Mark is survived by his loving mother, Jan; his daughter, Loren, of California; his siblings, Tina, Jason, Joey, and Jordan; his beloved nephews and nieces, Zachary, Bryanna Alyssa, and Chase; and his loyal Rottweiler companion, Murphy, who brought him comfort and companionship. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd.
Mark will be remembered for his sharp mind, generous heart, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. He leaves behind many memories that will continue to be cherished by family and friends.
