Mark Christopher Niles

Mark Christopher Niles age 58 of Dallas, Texas passed away December 29, 2023. He was born April 22, 1965 in Buffalo, New York to George and Heather (Somerville) Niles. He was youngest of four siblings and grew up in North Tonawanda, New York, but moved to North Texas at the age of 16 while his mother was pursuing her PhD. He remained in North Texas in the Denton area, then Dallas, but also lived for short times in Florida and Idaho. His love for travel has taken him all over the US and Mexico as well as on multiple cruise ship trips. He enjoyed camping in Big Bend and visiting other favorite destinations like Key West, Florida, Asheville, North Carolina and of course his beloved Buffalo, New York. Mark was full of life and always sure and confident of himself and never met stranger. He loved the music band “Rush” having seen them over a dozen times in his lifetime. Mark served countless beverages and cocktails over the years between a number of hotels and country clubs, most recently at the Adolphus Hotel. He could always remember past clients names and their drinks of choice. He was a good friend to everyone he met and adored his friends and family of choice. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
