Maribel (Lopez) Trujillo

Maribel Lopez Zendejas Trujillo, age 50 of Ferris, Texas passed away October 31, 2023. She was born in Michoacán, Mexico May 29, 1973 to Alejandro Lopez and Elva Zendejas. The youngest of six siblings, she began working at an early age on the farm, helping her dad with livestock and helping her mother in the house: cooking and housekeeping. She met and later married the love of her life Jose Trujillo. To this union was blessed three beautiful children. In 1992 she moved to the Dallas area and later the family moved to Ferris in 2007. She continued with housekeeping in local homes and was a very happy and enthusiastic individual, always having a radiant smile. She loved to cook and clean her house supporting all three of her children in baseball. She loved listening to music and dancing; cooking for her family, they will miss her homemade tortillas, enchiladas, charro beans, and her very special homemade salsa. It was one of a kind. Mirabel is remembered as a selfless individual always putting the needs of others first before her own. She had such a distinctive laugh, one always knew when she entered a room. The highlight of her life was becoming a grandmother to her two beautiful granddaughters. She also adored her pug Nala. She will be missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents Alejandro Lopez and Elva Zendejas of Mexico, her loving husband Jose Trujillo of Ferris, Texas; her children: Enelixsa Trujillo and husband Gary Kyle Green of Ferris, Texas, Marco Antonio Trujillo Lopez of Ferris, Texas and Julian Trujillo of Ferris, Texas; two granddaughters: Neveah Green and Makayla Green; siblings: Manuel Lopez, Ramon Lopez, Gustavo Lopez, Javier Lopez, and Lorena Lopez Torres.

Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas. 

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday November 3, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish Ferris, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas.
