Guadalupe A. Garcia, age 87 of Ferris, Texas passed away January 21, 2024. She was born October 1, 1936, in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jose Patricio and Ricarda (Trevino) Arrambide. She married Elias Garcia, March 6, 1960, in Raymondville, Texas and together they shared and raised their ten children. Lupita’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her so much joy and happiness. Lupita loved the Lord and was a founding member of Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Ferris, Texas and was one of their original Guadalupanas. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Ricarda Arrambide; husband Elias Garcia; six sisters and one brother; and granddaughter Tiffani Marie Jenkins.
She is survived by her loving children: Angie and husband Bryan Vinson of Ferris, Texas, Rosie Garcia of Ferris, Texas, Noemi and husband Carlos Fernandez of Midlothian, Texas, Patricia and husband Jeffrey Kuhn of Ferris, Texas, David Moya of Ferris, Texas, Elias Jr. and wife Anna Garcia of Ferris, Texas, Jose “Coco” Garcia of Ferris, Texas, Arturo and wife Sherry Garcia of Red Oak, Texas, Roel and wife Sonia Garcia of Mansfield, Texas, Jaime and wife Melissa Garcia of Ferris, Texas and Hector Garcia of Ferris, Texas; 34 grandchildren and 50+ great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024 with Rosary at 7:00 PM, held at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2024at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish Ferris, Texas.
Interment will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas.
