Luke Michael Haba

Luke Michael Haba age 23 of Red Oak, Texas passed away December 19, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was born January 25, 1999 in Dallas, Texas to Ernest Stanley Haba, Jr., and Karen R. (Kimbrough) Haba. He grew up in Ellis County, Texas and attended Ferris schools and graduated from DeSoto high school, class of 2017. He immediately began working for City of DeSoto for five years in Parks and Recreation and later onto the City of Pearland, Texas where he continued his work in park maintenance. Luke always loved the game of basketball and soccer and dreamed of becoming a basketball coach. He also enjoyed video games and going to the movies, watching his favorite dramas and comedies. He could often be found at various car shows, working on cars and going to the shooting range with his dad. He enjoyed all kinds of music: country, hip-hop, and Mexican. Luke was often a serious individual, grouchy with a certain attitude sometimes, but could also be very funny with his dry sense of humor. His family recall fun vacations in summer to various places including: Memphis, New Orleans in San Antonio. He loved and will be missed by his cats: Cinnamon and Tiger.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; aunt Gwen Miller, aunt Pam Gibson and uncle Wayne Kimbrough.

He is survived by his loving parents Ernest Jr. and Karen Haba; brothers: Matthew Haba and John Haba; nieces and nephew:Trinity Haba, Kinsley Haba and Cason Haba; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2022 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7, 2022 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas. Pastor Eddie Wiechman officiating.

Interment will follow immediately at Bristol Cemetery Bristol, Texas.
