Linda Lue King age 66 of Ferris, Texas passed away June 17, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas September 4, 1955 to the late Algie Lee and Gerylene (Autrey) King. She grew up in Lancaster, Texas and graduated high school there in 1974. She attended nursing vocational school becoming an LVN. She worked in the medical industry from 1976 until her retirement in 2010. Her career spanned from Dallas to Las Vegas and back, caring for patients in hospitals and nursing homes. She grew up a Pentecostal believer and played various instruments; she played drums in high school band and at church, she also loved playing the guitar and bass guitar. Linda was always a huge Elvis fan, having seen him in concert several times. she was a dog lover, leaving behind her beloved Lucy and Daisy. Linda is remembered as being quite a character, she loved to talk and visit for hours. At home, she could often be found watching or listening to her favorite preacher Rev. Jimmy Swaggart. Her love for the Lord and her faith, dedication and generosity to various ministries and missions will never be forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by two uncles; several cousins and other extended family members.
Graveside will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Ferris Memorial Park North.
