Larry Stock Obituary

Larry Martin Stock, born December 2, 1954, in Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024. He was the beloved son of Robert Henry Stock and Betty Jean Keelen.

Larry pursued his passion for artistry by attending Yavapai Junior College in Arizona, where he honed his skills as a jeweler. He worked at Neiman Marcus for 26 years, and continued to work in precious custom jewelry for over 50 years. His son, Logan, carries on his legacy by working at the very same branch that his father did.

In 1978, he married Debra Osborn, and together they built a loving family filled with warmth and laughter. A true outdoorsman, Larry cherished camping, motorcycles, scuba diving, and camping adventures. He was a devoted supporter of all Dallas sports teams and found joy in coaching children's soccer, sharing his love of the game with the younger generation. Larry had a knack for bringing people together, whether it was through his famous chicken recipe at cookouts or simply by being a patient and good listener.

Larry's humor and humility endeared him to everyone he met. He was known for his generosity and caring nature, always willing to lend a helping hand. He found immense joy in his grandchildren, creating cherished memories during family trips to Washington, D.C., and the Smithsonian. He loved the simple pleasures in life, including a good bag of Azar sunflower seeds. He was truly blessed and grateful for all that he had, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty, and his brother, Harry Stock.

Larry is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Debra Stock; his brother, David Robert Stock and wife Denise; his children: Justin Martin Stock and wife Lynzee, Jordan Lee Stock and wife Allie, Logan Robert Stock and wife Ashley Leann; his grandchildren: Dylan, Sawyer, Journey, Presley, Cameron, Landon, and Levi; and numerous extended family members whom he loved dearly.
