Kimberly Renee Prestidge

Kimberly Renee Prestidge Galeti was born September 24, 1970 to Jim and Patsy Prestidge in Duncanville, TX.  She grew up in Duncanville with her older brother Kevin. From a young age, she fell in love with art. She used multiple medias to express herself. She enjoyed sharing her gift of art with others, often giving bracelets and necklaces to friends, acquaintances, and new friends. 

She came to faith as an adult and attended a variety of churches, where she had friends and enjoyed the spectrum of the Christian faith. She was active in worship and bible studies.

Kym met Alex Galeti in 1998, and from 1999 until her passing they were together. Kym loved her pets: Milo, Bella, Xander, and Phoebe.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Patsy Prestidge.

She is survived by her husband Alex Galeti; brother Kevin Prestidge; nephew Peyton Prestidge and nieces Brittany Bond and Amanda Sidler. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle Betty and Ed Fincher; as well as a several cousins. 

Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Central Presbyterian Church: 402 N. College St. Waxahachie, TX 75165. 

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in Kym’s honor to the Joslin Diabetes Center.
