Josef Amar Treece age 19, of Dallas, Texas passed away on July 5, 2023. He was born on January 27, 2004 in Ennis, Texas to Kay Treece. Growing up he attended Ferris and Red Oak schools. Josef loved playing paintball as a teenager and hanging out with his friends on the weekends. He enjoy rap music even though most was not Mawmaw approved. Although Josef wanted to portray himself as hard, he was in fact very gentle and soft. Josef was extremely funny and loved making others laugh. He had a few mentors growing up, but David was the one he grew closest to. The two of them recently took a trip to the beach with family. Josef grew close to David’s son, Matthew, viewing him as a brother. He loved his family and was very protective of his siblings and cousins. Josef would do anything for those he loved and his momma was his world. He was a mommas boy above all else. Josef loved the holidays with Christmas and Halloween being his favorite. Before his passing he was getting ready to attend schooling for under water welding, a new interest he had. Although he had not had children of his own, he grew very close and stepped into a father role for his girlfriends two young children. He will be missed deeply by all that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his Pawpaw Jerry Manning who passed away in 2015.
He is survived by his mom Kay Treece of Waxahachie, Texas; mawmaw Jodi Manning of Waxahachie, Texas; brothers: CJ Lincoln of Ferris, Texas and Timothy Treece of Waxahachie, Texas; grammy Nancy Tupa of Waxahachie, Texas; aunt Angel and spouse Christian Garcia of Ferris, Texas; uncle Smokey Treece of Waxahachie, Texas, great uncle Pete and Trinnie Tupa of Houston, Texas, great aunt Trudi and Roger Justice of Joshua, Texas, great uncle Jommy and Sue Tupa of Ferris, Texas, ; cousins: Dominic, Emily, Brianna, Rayden, Donny, Ashley, Haley, as well as his loving girlfriend Lex and children Sky and Gigi.
A memorial service is planned for August 5, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak at 12:00 Noon.
