Jose “Junior” Jesus Salazar, age 61 of Red Oak, Texas passed away January 20, 2023. He was born July 19, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to the late Jose Jesus Salazar, Sr. and Clara Mae Henson. He grew up in Kleberg Texas and the Oak Cliff area of Dallas and graduated from WH Adamson High School, Class of 1979. He worked several years in carpentry and later made his way into the automotive auction sales industry with ADESA where he remained until his passing. In his youth he attended many live concerts including Sammy Hagar and the Scorpions in 1977, he saw Queen twice and Aerosmith at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. He also enjoyed NASCAR, attending several races in Fort Worth, Daytona 500, and Talladega as well as some Indy races in Austin and Indianapolis 500 He enjoyed many nights at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. He love to watch the HOT RODS He could often be found working on model cars and listening to his favorite classic rock ‘n’ roll music of the 80s and 9 0s, he loved watching old movies and was always ready to cheer for the Dallas Cowboys. And the Stars He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Clara Mae and Jose Jesus Salazar, Sr.
He is survived by his siblings: Danny Salazar of Red Oak, Texas, Cynthia Mae Cano of Red Oak, Texas Herschel Lee Salazar of Wentzville, Missouri; niece Jordan K. Salazar and nephews: Mason Salazar, Arthur Cano and Ethan D. Salazar
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2023at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
