Jorge Gonzalez, Jr.

Jorge Gonzalez, Jr., age 33 of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on March 1, 2025. He was born June 11, 1991 to Jorge Sr. and Delores Gonzalez. Jorge had a free spirit and a heart that never hesitated to give. His love language was action—doing for others, bringing laughter into every room, and making sure his nieces and nephews always had candy in their hands and love in their hearts. He could dance to any beat, find humor in everything, and bring order to chaos—his devotion to cleanliness was unmatched. A man of many talents and endless creativity, Jorge explored passions from woodworking to T-shirt design, from drawing city skylines to perfecting graffiti art, always incorporating his favorite zip code, 214. His love for cars was rivaled only by his love for cooking—his barbecue skills were legendary, and he had a special knack for whipping up comfort food inspired by life’s lessons. Jorge was easygoing, non-confrontational, and happiest in his own rhythm—whether playing game slots at the corner store, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, or reminiscing about family trips to San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, floating the river at Glen Rose, and exploring Austin’s hidden caves. He lived by his own rules, free and wild, but always rooted in love for those around him. Jorge will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit will live on in the memories he left behind.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Benito and Eva Teresa (Villasolis) Gonzalez and grandmother Tony Perez.

He is survived by his parents Jorge Sr. and Delores Gonzalez; siblings: Maria and husband Willie Flores, Jesse Gonzalez, Javier and wife Aliana Gonzalez; nieces and nephews: Matthew Flores, Savannah Flores, Sky Flores, Azrael Gonzalez, Amara Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez, and Anais Gonzalez; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. 

Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Green Funeral Home -Red Oak, Texas. Deacon Michael Friske Officiating.
