John Leonard Pantaleo, lovingly known as PJ, passed away at the age of 58 in Savannah, Texas. Born November 3, 1966, in Bismarck, New Jersey, to Leonard J. Pantaleo and Elizabeth Irene Monaghan, PJ lived a life that radiated joy, creativity, and connection. A beloved husband, son, and friend, PJ is survived by his devoted husband, Anselmo Guerrero, Jr., along with a circle of friends and chosen family who were forever touched by his vibrant spirit and kind heart. PJ had an extraordinary gift: he brought light, laughter, and love into every room he entered. Whether through humor, a warm hug, or a perfectly timed joke, he reminded those around him that life, even in its messiest moments, is worth celebrating. His mantra, “Always Yes, And,” reflected his generous approach to life and others. He believed in embracing the now, in showing up, and in never forgetting to play. To know PJ was to feel seen, supported, and deeply loved. He lived with an open heart and offered his full presence to those lucky enough to be in his orbit. His legacy is one of fierce love, genuine joy, and unwavering loyalty.
A Celebration of PJ’s Life will be held at 8:45 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at SAK Comedy Lab, 55 West Church Street, Suite 211, Orlando, Florida. Friends and family are invited to come as they are, bring a memory, and honor PJ in the space that brought him — and so many others — boundless joy.
In his memory, may we all laugh loudly, love fiercely, and never forget to embrace the moment — just as PJ did every day of his life.
