Jesus Solis Soto

Jesus “Chuy” Solis Soto age 57 of Ferris, Texas passed away June 21, 2021. He was born in Durango, Mexico to the late Federico Solis Rocha and Maria Juana Soto Galindo on June 3, 1964. He married Virginia Renteria Martinez in Durango, Mexico. This union was blessed with five children. As a young man he traveled back-and-forth from Mexico To California working to provide for his family. In 1992 at the age of 28 years old, he brought his family to Dallas, TX where he began working as a welder in steel construction. He was a good man, generous and always helping others. He loved to sing and worked many years with livestock. He loved all animals especially his six goats. He always encouraged his grandchildren to dedicate and pursue their passions, to work hard and to love one another. His children remember family vacations to the beach in Galveston for his birthday and many trips to the lake.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jose Vasquez; and brother Refugio Vasquez.

He is survived by wife Virginia Solis of Ferris; children: Adriana Solis of Ferris, Lauren Perez of Lancaster, Ana Celia Solis of Wilmer Alonso‘s Elyse a Ferris and Noe Solis of Ferris; grandchildren: Angel Perez, Jesus Solis and Aaron Sabora; siblings: Federico Solis of Ferris, Socorro Galindo of Dallas Aurora or Bena of Juarez, Mexico, Jose Solis of Ferris, Jovita Vasquez of Durango, Mexico and Angel Vasquez of Austin Texas; also numerous nieces nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Friday, June 25, 2021 at the family’s home: 3040 FM 780 Ferris, Texas

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 AM Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Ferris, Texas

Interment to follow at Ferris Memorial Park North, Ferris, Texas
