Jess Deon Dotson

Jess Deon Dotson, age 54 of Red Oak, Texas passed away December 4, 2023. He was born September 21, 1969 in Dallas, Texas to Danny Deon Dotson and Sandra Ann Gajdica. His family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, later to Eagle Pass, Texas, then back to Dallas, where he attended school in DeSoto. He often told the story about his Papa picking him up after school and driving him around dumpster diving for food for the chickens and pigs on the farm. After high school, he went to work for Binswanger Glass Company for several years then on Renfro Glass, where he currently worked. He was outgoing and always ready to help those in need. He enjoyed tinkering on his Mustang race car and hanging out with his uncle Vic. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father Danny Deon Dotson.

He is survived by his loving mother Sandra Dotson of Kemp, Texas; grandmother Magdalene Gajdica of Kemp, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends. 

Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas. 

Graveside Service will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Ferris Memorial Park North, Pastor Eddie Wiechman officiating.
