Jeremy Chase Hanson

Jeremy Chase Hanson, age 40 of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 9, 2026. He was born October 14, 1985 in Dallas, Texas to Roger and Michelle (Henderson) Hanson. He grew up in the Pleasant Grove area, never meeting a stranger. Known for his smile and friendly spirit, he always made others feel at ease. High-spirited and strong-willed, Jeremy lived life with passion. He would always help anyone in need, offering his time and resources generously. Sometimes on his own schedule, but he was dependable to the core and always showed up when it mattered most. He loved mechanics and auto body work, a passion that showed whenever he was under the hood of a car. He spent much of his professional life in construction, but his heart was always with engines, tools, and the thrill of speed; he loved watching drag racing at the Texas Motorplex. He also appreciated good food, classic western movies and classic rock ’n’ roll. He also enjoyed drawing and was quite artistic. Jeremy will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Lindon Hanson; grandfather Lester Henderson and uncle Robert Dean Hanson.

He is survived by his parents Roger and Michelle Hanson; brother Jason and wife Rachelle Hanson; sister Aleshia and husband Angel Garcia; niece and nephews: Makayla, Jacob and Ian; grandmother Louise Henderson; grandmother Elsie Hanson; aunt Debbie and husband Phillip Stubblefield, aunt Cynthia Currey and uncle Gary and wife Lisa Hanson; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. 

Visitation will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Green Funeral Home - Ferris, TX
