Jeffrey Lee Patterson

Jeffrey Lee Patterson, 53, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on November 30, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1972, in Waxahachie, Texas, and raised in Ferris, Texas, where he later moved to Richardson Tx. and lived most of his life.

Known for his charm, kindness, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor, Jeff touched countless lives. He loved fishing, had a deep appreciation for rock ’n’ roll, and shared a special bond with animals. A talented craftsman, Jeff took pride in designing and building wooden decks and patio covers, leaving behind work that reflected both his skill and creativity. He could do just about anything with a piece of wood, and his many other talents extended to working on anything and everything in the home. His playful motto was: “If it ain’t broke, I can fix it so it is!”

Jeff was funny, smart, and witty — a man who loved his family deeply and lived life with a fun-loving spirit. He was also a proud momma’s boy, carrying a special bond with his mother that shaped the warmth and love he shared with others. His laughter and presence brought joy to those around him, and his craftsmanship left lasting marks of creativity and care.

Jeff’s strength, curiosity, and devotion to family defined his life. Though his time here was far too short, his spirit and faith endure. Jeff faced many challenges in his life, including having to spend time away from loved ones in his final  years. Yet his devotion to family and his enduring spirit remained constant. He will be remembered with love, laughter, and gratitude.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Dean Patterson, Sr. and Georgia Annette Paul, and his sister, Tony Rene Patterson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Destin Patterson; his forever love Kristin Goad; his sister, Gayla West and husband Brien West; his brother, Dean Patterson and wife Irina Patterson; his niece, Brittanie “BB” Loper; and countless cousins. His legacy lives on through his family, who will carry his memory with love and pride. He will also be remembered by countless friends whose lives he touched.

And though his earthly journey has ended, he was a child of God so we hold fast to the promise that we will see him again in heaven.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025 at Green Funeral Home -Ferris, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Green Funeral Home -Ferris, Texas. Pastor Eddie Wiechman officiating.

Graveside Service will follow immediately at Ferris Memorial Park North -Ferris, Texas.
