Jazmine A. Garza

Jazmine A. Garza age 21 of Red Oak, Texas passed away September 21, 2021. She was born January 22, 2000 in Dallas, Texas to Mark Garza Sr. and Jessica (Molina) Garza. She attended the Ferris, Texas School District, graduating in 2018. She was funny, sometimes crazy with the faces and sounds she made. Her love of cats and of Cher will be remembered by all who knew her. As a middle child, she was the peacekeeper of the family; often saying, “peace out!”. Her family treasure memories of their trips to San Antonio and floating down the river in San Marco. Her friends will miss her freely given advice and ability to listen and help others where she could. Often thought of as an old soul, her taste in food was quite modern. McDonald’s and Pizza Hut being among her favorites. Jazmine was quite a free spirit; her love of drawing and painting her expressions in art was outstanding. She loved reading the book The Alchemist and was eagerly planning her Bob Ross costume for Halloween. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather Arcadio Garza Sr. and uncle Alvin Molina.

She is survived by her father Mark Garza Sr. of Red Oak and mother Jessica Garza of Ennis; sister Gloria and husband Steven LaBaw of Ennis, Racquel Garza of Ferris, brother Mark Garza Jr. of Ferris and sister Mia Garza of Ferris; grandmother Selia Garza of Ferris; grandparents David and Gloria Diaz of Ferris and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and dear friends. 

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Ferris, TX. 

Funeral Service will be 11:00 Saturday, September 25, 2021 at First Baptist Ferris; with burial to follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas. Chaplain Lupe S. Salazar officiating.
